Routes

From Otopeni (Henri Coanda) Airport to Faculty of Philosophy:
Take express line 783: Henri Coandă Airport - Bucharest Downtown (about 45-60 minutes). Magnetic cards (tickets) can be purchased at any hour from the ATM located near the bus station (with lei or euros; you can use a credit card). The price of a ticket for two travels is 7 lei (~1,5 euro). Schedule here.

Route: Arrivals Terminal, Departures Terminal, Otopeni City, "Aurel Vlaicu" Airport Băneasa, Piaţa Presei Libere, Arcul de Triumf, Piaţa Victoriei, Piaţa Romană, Piaţa Universităţii. Then walk (50 m and take a right turn; walk another 50 m) to Universitate bus stop. Take bus 601 towards Facultatea de Filosofie (6 stops). From Piaţa Universităţii you can also take the subway towards Piata Unirii 2 (1 stop). Then walk (1 min) to Piata Unirii 1 metro stop and take the metro towards Grozavesti (3 stops; [See map]).

From Baneasa Airport to the Faculty of Philosophy:
Walk (1 min) to Aeroportul Baneasa bus stop. Take express bus 783 (wait 14 min) towards Piata 21 Decembrie 1989 / Universitate (5 stops). Walk (50 m and take a right turn; walk another 50 m) to Universitate bus stop. Take bus 601 towards Facultatea de Filosofie (6 stops). From Piaţa Universităţii you can also take the subway towards Piata Unirii 2 (1 stop). Then walk (1 min) to Piata Unirii 1 metro stop and take the metro towards Grozavesti (3 stops; [See map]).

From both airports to the University's hotel (Academica):
From bus stop Universitate take bus 601, 336 or trolleybus 61, 69, 90, 91 (wait 2 min) towards Facultatea de Drept (3 stops). [See map] From Piaţa Universităţii you can also take the subway towards Piata Unirii 2 (1 stop). Then walk (1 min) to Piata Unirii 1 metro stop and take the metro towards Eroilor (2 stops; [See map]).

From University's hotel (Academica) to the Faculty of Philosophy:
Take bus 601 towards Facultatea de Filosofie (3 stops) - or you can walk (15 minutes). [See map] Or you can take the subway from Eroilor towards Grozavesti (1 stop).

Taxi

If you need a reliable taxi firm, you can call Meridian Taxi (Romtelecom: 0219444; Vodafone +40730339444; Orange: +40751339444) or Speed Taxi (Romtelecom: 0219469, Vodafone: 0722.10.9477). Both Meridian Taxi and Speed Taxi have online taxi request pages. Price: 1,4 lei/km (~0,4 EURO; 1 EURO=4,4 lei; Exchange rate page here). If you take any other yellow taxi always check if it has the price written on the front door (generally 1,4 lei/km). From Otopeni Airport you can take only the cabs of one taxi firm, namely Fly Taxi (3,5 lei/km). However, if you want to go to the Otopeni or Baneasa Airport, you can use any other taxi firm.
